I am a licensed clinical social worker, trained teacher of mindful self-compassion, a wife, a mom, and a lover of the outdoors!
My interest in this work began early on in my career as a social worker, where I saw how common it was for people to struggle with feelings of self-doubt, shame, and inadequacy. As I continued to work with individuals, couples, and families, I began to see the profound impact that self-compassion could have on one's mental, emotional, and physical health.
I became a certified teacher for mindful self-compassion through the Center for Mindful Self-Compassion, and since then, I have been teaching these principles to individuals and groups in a variety of settings.
Through workshops, classes, and individual counseling sessions, I have seen people transform their relationship to themselves and others, learning to be more kind, patient, and understanding towards themselves.
In addition to my work teaching MSC, I continue to maintain a counseling practice where I provide therapy services to individuals and families. My approach is grounded in a deep sense of compassion and empathy, I work collaboratively with my clients to help them overcome obstacles and achieve their goals.
